A community friend just vented to me about the job environment, only for their own app to explode last week and receive a spotlight in the app store, leading to a data surge. Their product had been in silent development for over two years, and just last year they were inquiring how to withdraw their first $100. Today, they're figuring out how to make the best use of their sudden fortune. I'm hopeful they'll take a moment to share their journey in a post soon. Independent development is all about hard work, luck, and persistence.
