Made up of six chapters and 45 clauses, the regulations outline general rules, prevention, handling of domestic violence, and the legal responsibilities associated with personal safety protection orders. In the forefront, it specifies a list of behaviors considered as domestic abuse, including common physical violence, verbal abuse, social restrictions, unusual economic control, and perpetration of domestic violence through the internet. Furthermore, the approach extends special protections to specific populations, incorporating women who have been pregnant for up to six months into this protected category.
