During the weekend, I went to the park with some friends and our children. The 'seed-like' child is one you can't keep up with, scampering over rocks and daringly playing by the pond, always on the move. Among the children, one is the 'rhizome-like' child who takes time to warm up to unfamiliar playmates, possibly breaking the ice just as it's time to leave. The 'flower-like' child craves your attention for every little thing they do, eager to show you their discoveries and achievements. Without your interest or praise, they become dejected, and if criticized publicly, they may react strongly. The 'tree trunk-like' child is the one with the strongest leadership among the kids, commanding the play, setting the rules, and strictly criticizing those who don't follow them.
