In the process of a child’s development, parents tend to pour all their knowledge, experience, and life lessons onto them without much thought. Nietzsche once said, 'The taller the tree, the deeper its roots must reach into the darkness; a tree with an unstable foundation is bound to grow askew.' Such is the reason for the twistedness and internal struggle of modern people. Parents habitually hold children to adult or even saintly standards, taking it for granted, criticizing them upon failure, overlooking the truth of human nature and the essence of growth.
